Bluehost Email SMTP

Trying to use a plugin like WP Mail SMTP to send WordPress email through Google SMTP servers for a site hosted on BlueHost?

1. Go into BlueHost settings -> Cpanel -> MX
2. Under MX Email Routing click “More”
3. Change option to “Remote Mail Exchanger”
4. Save Setting
5. Create an email account on BlueHost identical to the email in use on Google (apps) account.
6. Setup the WP SMTP with the email address, password, and SSL settings used in the creation of the (duplicate) email address setup on BlueHost
7. Test and make sure emails deliver successfully
